Knitting Patterns

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.

I have designed these patterns to work with the .75mm or 1mm knitting needles and the yarn that I sell. If you knit loosely, I suggest the .75mm knitting needles. You can substitute other yarns and #12 perle cottons, but you will get a different size finished garment.

Some recommendations:

*If you use flower thread or tatting cotton, you will find that the finished garment does not have a soft hand. Yarn has stretch where threads do not. You need to allow for this.

*Work carefully and do not split the yarn. It is quite difficult to rip rows back and pick up stitches, especially when doing a pattern, so better to get them right in the first place.

*When knitting two stitches together, use the point of the right needle, put it through the second stitch on the left needle as if to purl, and pull the stitch down. This will open the stitch and make it easier to knit two together.

*The easiest way to block the finished work is to wash it. Lay flat on a towel to dry. Scrunch in any ribbing.

*A small crochet hook will catch dropped stitches.

*If your doll is wired together, use small triangles of masking tape or bandage tape and stick one over each wire loop, so the loops will not catch in the knitting.

*Have fun!
